Student of the Week for September 23-26, 2014

The Principal’s Pick this week for student of the week is Ariel Go for the following reasons:

  • Ariel is an outstanding student who has  had an incredible transition to junior high. He is a model of respect to staff and students alike and is a leader in  the classroom. Ariel is engaged in his education, uses his time to help others, and works diligently outside of school to be as successful as he possibly can be. Student of the Week for September 8-12, 2014

The Junior High Department selected Kiara as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Kiara has set some excellent goals for herself this year as an eighth grade leader, and she has already begun to achieve them. She is dedicated to her studies, but is also stepping up as a junior high leader. In class she is intellectually active, speaking up to voice her opinions and observations. She is an excellent critical reader and lively writer. Keep this up for a year, Kiara, and it will take you far! - Ms. Purevsuren

The High School Department selected Morgyn Hoage as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Morgyn Hoage is an outstanding student in my Spanish class. She is always on task, willing to help other students and simply a very pleasant person to work with. Her friendly smile makes me and other people around her very happy.

Domestic Disturbance

911 call received in which the caller did not respond but arguing could be heard in the background. A trace of the call was initiated and officers responded to the residence. Officers discovered that a couple had been involved in a tense argument, but no threats of violence or actual violence had occurred.
Assistance Rendered
Saturday 24 December 2016, 7:19 a.m.
Taxi driver requested assistance in collecting a fare. The driver was able to enter into a civil agreement with the fares prior to officer arrival.

Summons served in a criminal case.
Found Property
Friday 30 December 2016, 10:32 a.m.
Caller reported a found wallet. Dispatch contacted the wallets owner and arranged a meeting between the two parties so that the wallet could be returned.
