Student of the Week for January 5 - 9, 2015

The Junior High Department selected Rissa as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

Rissa is a phenomenal voice in the English classroom. She is focused, diligent, cheerful, and has already grown tremendously as a reader and writer this year. She sets challenging goals for herself and not only accomplishes them, but exceeds them. She read eight books over Christmas break, taking the opportunity to push herself personally, beyond regular expectations. This is but one example of how Rissa continually "steps it up" as a learner.
